In browsing and using this website or any AP Transit app, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our Privacy Policy govern AP Transit’s relationship with you. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website or apps.

The terms ‘AP Transit’ or ‘AP Transit NYC’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website and apps. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website and apps.

User-generated content and Station Chat

AP Transit may provide a station-based chat feature that allows users to submit short text messages and emojis associated with specific transit stations. Use of this feature is optional and provided for informational and community purposes only.

Users agree not to post content that is unlawful, offensive, abusive, defamatory, misleading, or that violates the rights of others. Posting personal data, spam, advertisements, links, images, or files is prohibited.

All chat messages are subject to automated filtering and manual moderation. AP Transit reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, monitor, remove, edit, or restrict any user-generated content at any time, with or without notice, and without liability.

AP Transit does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of any user-generated content. Messages reflect the views of the individual users and not those of AP Transit.

By using the chat feature, you acknowledge and agree that AP Transit shall not be responsible or liable for any content posted by users, or for any actions taken based on such content.

AP Plus subscription

AP Transit offers an optional auto‑renewable subscription called “AP Plus” that unlocks cosmetic features (an alternate app icon and a star badge next to your chat name). A subscription is not required to use the app’s core features.

Price and billing. AP Plus is $2.99 per month and includes a 7‑day free trial for eligible new subscribers. In the iOS app, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. In a web browser, payment is processed by Stripe. Prices may vary by region and platform and are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm.

Free trial. If you do not cancel during the 7‑day free trial, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Auto‑renewal. The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Managing and cancelling. On iOS you can manage your subscription and turn off auto‑renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings (App Store → Apple ID → Subscriptions) after purchase. For web subscriptions, you can cancel through the billing page provided at checkout. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds. Purchases made through the iOS App Store are subject to Apple’s refund policy and are handled by Apple. Web (Stripe) purchases are non‑refundable for the current period except where required by law. Cancelling does not provide a refund for the current period.

Use of the iOS app and any auto‑renewable subscription purchased through it is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
