We do not require you to provide any personal information to us to use our services.
“Locate Me” feature
This “Locate Me” feature is offered as a convenience, and is not required to use the app. Location data is queried only to locate your nearest station when you load the app and when you click on the “Locate Me” button. Location data is only queried if you’ve granted access to your device’s location services to AP Transit, and can be revoked at anytime under privacy settings. If you enable location sharing, your location is never sent to our server.
Information usage
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support. In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets. If our services are acquired by or merged with another company, we’ll notify you via this page before any information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. As matter of policy we don’t share, sell, trade, or give any collected information, unless required by law.
Emailing us from inside the app
When you tap the “Email us” or “Report a bug” buttons, your device’s model and iOS version are inserted into the message body.
User Options
The following are some examples of your options with regard to collection, use and disclosure of your information: You can stop all collection of location data easily and at any time by disabling location services in your device’s settings or by uninstalling AP Transit. You are not required to indicate any preferences or share your location in order to use AP Transit, since these are optional. You can provide anonymous feedback by using an email account that does not reveal your identity, and does not include your name.

We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. For instance, all communication with the app and website requires HTTPS.
