Noel Copeland's artwork celebrates the abundance of flora and fauna in the Bronx. “Leaf of Life,” honors the parks and gardens within the area, such as the Bronx Botanical Garden, the famous Bissel Gardens, the Bronx Zoo, as well as local community gardens. Recreating the organic forms and structure found in nature, the Copeland’s design transforms the station with radiant faceted glass panels located on the station platforms.
